Yang Style Tai Chi Push Hands
Taijiquan Tuishou
Push Hands (Tui Shou) is the umbrella name for Taijiquan’s barehand partner work. Training is done is a safe, cooperative, non-competitive environment, and is a wonderful vehicle for deepening your study of Qigong, the Taijiquan solo form, and bodywork.
The traditional Yang Style Push Hands curriculum includes:
- Ba Pan Jia Zi (Eight Disc Method, or the ’1-8′ Preparatory Drills)
- Si-zheng Tui-shou (Four Hands)
- Da Lu (Large Rollback)
- Taiji San-shou (attack and defend form)
Some basic taijiquan experience is required. Contact Erica if you would like to participate.
